I'd like to share with you a little about myself.
I was born in Italy and came to Australia with my father, mother and sister in 1962. Separated, at an early age from extended family, I missed my grandparents, cousins, etc, left behind in Italy. Although now an Austrlalian citizen, I still feel every bit Italian, and aspire to regaining my Italian citizenship.
Having made a number of visits over the years, each of these has felt like a "homecoming".
So, what's brought me here as co-founder of Italian Encounters. Like Liana, I was fortunate enough to be offered a redundancy, giving me some valuable time for reflection on my past and future. In the end I didn't see a future in Project Management so, instead here we are with Italian Encounters.
