Review - Boboli Garden, Florence - Poorly Maintained, not worth the time or price

I saw the Boboli Gardens, which form part of the Pitti Palace, over several hours so I feel like I gave them a good chance.

The gardens are colourless and not being well maintained. Water fountains not working and in a green and murky condition.Yes it was winter, but there is alot more that could be done to make it look well cared for.

If you are limited on your time in Florence, see the Pitti Palace and give the gardens a miss - it will save you 10 Euro, which is alot - even the Uffizi is only 6.50 entrance fee.

Hi Steve - what a disappointment!

I visited the gardens a long time ago and recall they were quite pleasant - it was over 8 years ago in summer. It's a shame - hope they're not a victim of the economic crisis!
